How do I find out more information about careers?
First, use the O*NET OnLine: Find Occupations to perform variety of career searches. Compare these results with what you have gathered from your previous searches.
Then use the Occupational Outlook Handbook to find out general information about different careers, including:
- The training and education they require (pay special attention here!)
- Earnings
- Expected job prospects
- What workers do on the job, and
- Working conditions
